We are thrilled to introduce you to Sebastián Vidal, our new store manager at Pedego Canmore. Sebastián is a passionate bike enthusiast with a wealth of experience and knowledge in the industry.

He joined our team in January and has been a great asset ever since.

Sebastián is originally from Chile, where he started riding bikes at the age of 10 with his younger brother, neighbours and friends. He has explored various terrains and ecosystems in his home country, from the driest desert in the world to the majestic Patagonia.

He decided to come to Canmore in Canada this winter after a previous short visit to the Rocky Mountains working in different bike shops and learning English.

“I fell in love with the area,” Sebastián says. “I love the mountains. My goal was to find something related to bikes, which is my passion.”

“I started with downhill, then got interested in XC, and the enduro concept exploded. Since then, I’ve mainly been on the trail. I also do road cycling and use my bike as a means of transportation, which I enjoy,” Sebastian says. “I share this passion with my brother, who is also in Canada right now. He is a bike fitter and a mountain bike coach with Professional Mountain Bike Instructor Association certification, so we’ve always complemented each other in terms of knowledge.”

Sebastián is not only an avid rider of all kinds of bikes, but also a publicist and a business administrator specializing in marketing. He loves innovation, and meeting people. Sebastián is excited to share his passion and expertise with our customers and help them discover the numerous benefits of Pedego ebikes.

He sees electric bikes as an opportunity to enhance efficiency, reach further, and have more fun.

“I like the idea of adapting and seeing how technology is here to help us. I see ebikes as an opportunity to enhance efficiency. The fact that, for example, in 1 hour, I can go from covering 30 km on a regular bike to doubling that amount is incredible. Ultimately, for me, doing more in less time is revolutionary. Reaching further is something that I find amazing,” Sebastián says.
