Living somewhere people dream of coming to is a point of pride for St John’s local Mike Hall. He’s the new owner of Pedego St. John’s, located at 172 Water Street, open this spring in Newfoundland and Labrador’s capital city.

Mike is no stranger to serving his community. From a life-long career with the St. John’s Fire Department to his boat tour business – NL Boat Tours, he lives and breathes East Coast hospitality. While riding his e-bike to work at the firehall, Mike saw the adventure and transportation potential for everyone living in and travelling to his city.

“The kettle is always on,” says Hall. “Newfoundland is known for its unique culture, especially its music, hospitality and storytelling. With deep Irish roots, it is the oldest and most easterly city in North America.”

Electric bikes are relatively new to Newfoundland and Labrador. With its hilly streets and ocean headwinds, e-bikes make cycling the city more accessible.
